Alessandra Chiffi and Giancarlo Mustich work in“thought-drawing” and “new paths of creation” with their drawings on paper.
Her works create graphic gestures and figures under a cubist line with poetic prologues.
His works are vertical Palladian inspired stairs and factory forms of futuristic outfitters.
Showing the juxtaposition of "Feminine/Masculine", a dual work in which each person's features embrace, united by a mental "thing" (un cossa) with shared aesthetic registers.
After studying at the School of Art in Lisippo, Alessandra entered the Academy of Fine Arts in Lecce where she met Giancarlo. After graduating, they spent two years painting in Berlin and then settled in Rome, where they now work as street visual artists and where they also have their art studio where they live and work as well.
"We do not run across an image, no crossing it, but by delving in it. They are not representations, but unfinished formulas of a becoming that is already an image. In a game of exchange and interchange between "being there" and "being elsewhere", spots and lines, move and collide in a harmonious conflict for the momentary conquest of a space that is already historicized and pregnant with the future, albeit in a dramatic absence of history. Swallowing the marks, as if they were cuts, and bleeding rejected forms and bodies. Fragile intuitions of a revealed truth. Absolute principle of transmissions and transfers, as if space were invaded by a thread that touches, transforms, organizes ... bridge of forces and energies."
